Derek is the President of Enterprise Bank & Trust's Arizona Region. He joined Enterprise in 2011 as Senior Vice President and has led the team responsible for managing Enterprise Bank’s Acquired Assets Portfolio.

Derek is a founding member of Enterprise Bank's Diversity Counsel and serves as part of the Bank's Business Alignment Team. Prior to Enterprise, Derek was a vice president of commercial banking for M&I Bank in Phoenix focusing on leveraged finance.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, has completed Leadership and Strategic Management training at Dartmouth, and holds a master’s in business administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Derek is an Executive Board Member of Homeward Bound – A Phoenix based charitable organization that works with victims of abuse (substance & physical) to break the multi generational cycle of homelessness.
