This talent development framework is designed to support individuals early in their banking career through structured training, mentorship, hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities, with the goal of building a future-ready workforce. At the end of the program, participants are placed in a location and department that aligns with your area of interest and also supports our growth plans and talent needs.

Hands-On Work Experience
Dive into high-impact work that matters.

Mentorship & Support
Learn from experienced professionals, receive one-on-one mentoring and get ongoing feedback.

Rotational Program
Explore different teams and roles to find your passion and broaden your skill set. Some of the areas you may rotate to include:

  • Credit Analysis: Spend at least six months in Credit Analysis to learn credit underwriting.
  • Commercial Banking: Discover how to sell and manage loans to businesses.
  • Business Banking: Identify and sell our lending tools to businesses to help them manage their finances.
  • Loan Operations: Learn how loans are reviewed, processed and serviced, including key elements of the process.
  • Treasury Management: Gain an understanding of the range of specialized services we offer related to cash flow, payments and risk to help businesses control and optimize their financial operations.

Career Pathways
There are clear progression opportunities upon successful completion of the program. Most participants move into sales trainee roles in Commercial Banking, Specialty Banking or Business Banking, with opportunities in other areas as an exception.

What We’re Looking for in CAP Participants:

  • Recent college graduates with degrees in finance, banking or a business-related field or early career professionals
  • An interest in a career in banking sales
  • Smart, curious, driven and eager to learn
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passionate about making a difference
  • Willingness to relocate to any of our locations or departments at the end of the program (relocation assistance will be provided)
