What are the biggest challenges you face as a business?
As a small nonprofit organization, we face many challenges, including limited resources, employees and volunteers. We are a growing organization, but to continue that growth, we need to increase our fundraising efforts, make connections in the community and create awareness of our mission. We are also challenged with building our Board of Directors and our Medical Advisory Board. We have two part-time people, so to say our staff is limited is an understatement. Lastly, keeping up with the latest technology has proven to be a huge challenge for our organization.
How did Enterprise help solve these challenges?
We were searching for a new bank and decided to meet with Enterprise. It is important to us that our bank is a true partner to our organization and a part of the community. After interviewing several banks, we selected Enterprise. They are invested in the community and offer more of a partnership than other banks we met with. From the beginning of the relationship, they have helped us immensely. Our banker facilitated a meeting for us with a new technology firm that can help us with our technology needs. We were able to simplify our finances by utilizing a checking account, online bill payment, a money market account and fraud protection services. They also support our community events.
What is the impact on your business?
Enterprise has been very supportive of our organization as we continue to grow. Due to that growth, we are adding more deposits than ever, so we are transitioning to automatic deposits. It is important to us that our banking partner has what we need as we grow into a larger organization.
Based on the excellent business relationship we developed with Enterprise, my family decided to move my parent’s estate to Enterprise Wealth Management. By doing so, we were able to consolidate from three banks to one. I have since recommended their wealth management services to other family members and friends. I can’t say enough great things about my experience — and it’s only just beginning.
