New Same Day ACH Processing Cutoff Time

As part of our banking systems upgrade, starting Oct. 15 an additional daily ACH processing time will occur at 10 a.m. CT to accommodate faster settlement of same day ACH items. This is in addition to the current 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. CT daily processing times.

What this means for you:

• ACH transactions that are authorized prior to 10 a.m. CT will no longer be able to be canceled or modified after 10 a.m. CT.
• If you have same day ACH-eligible transactions authorized prior to 10 a.m. CT, they will settle earlier in the afternoon at the receiver's financial institution.

As a reminder, Same Day ACH transactions are identified by the Effective Date. Transactions will be processed as Same Day when all of the following conditions are met: 1) the transaction contains an Effective Date that is the same as the current date; 2) the transaction is approved before the Same Day ACH Cutoff Time; and 3) the amount of the transaction falls within the $1,000,000 per transaction limit.
