Mobile Wallet FAQ
Mobile wallet makes your payments easy and secure
What is a mobile or digital wallet?
A mobile or digital wallet is a “wallet” that stores card information on a mobile device. It provides a cardholder a convenient way to pay for goods and services and can help manage loyalty club memberships and rewards cards. It can also help reduce fraud, as mobile wallets are generally harder to steal or copy than physical cards and cash.
Are mobile wallets secure?
Information that is uploaded to a mobile wallet is encrypted. When you enter your card information in a mobile wallet, a unique token is created and is part of the transaction conducted when using the mobile wallet. The token replaces the original card account number so the card number is never exposed, creating greater security.
What mobile wallets are available with an Enterprise Bank & Trust debit or credit card?
Depending on the mobile device, Apple Pay®, Google Pay™ or Samsung Pay™ are available.
Are all debit and credit cards eligible for use with a mobile wallet?
Both consumer and business debit cards can be added to a mobile wallet. Consumer and business credit cards can be added to a mobile wallet.
How do you get a mobile wallet?
This is simple! With an iPhone, just download Apple Pay from the Apple® store. If you have an Android® device, download Google Pay from the Google Play store. For a Samsung device, download Samsung Pay, if not already installed on the device. Follow the prompts to add the card information, and receive a one-time passcode (OTP) to authenticate the card.
What is a one-time passcode?
A one-time passcode (OTP) is a step-up authentication service that sends a numeric value generated by Mastercard or Visa to the cardholder using a tenured contact method (email or SMS text message to a mobile phone). Following receipt, the cardholder enters the OTP into the mobile wallet application within 30 minutes. If the OTP matches the original value generated, the token is activated. If the OTP does not match the original value, the cardholder will be directed to the call center to verify their identity and complete the token activation process.
Is there a fee to use a mobile wallet?
No. Enterprise Bank & Trust will not assess any fees to use a mobile wallet.

If making an in-store purchase, simply hold the mobile device at the terminal. If shopping in a mobile app or online, look for the Apple Pay or Google Pay logo or contactless symbol at checkout.
What if the mobile device is lost?
If an Android device is lost or stolen, the Android Device Administrator can be used to lock it remotely, create a new password and wipe personal information. If the Find My app has been downloaded to an iPhone, it can be used to remotely lock the device. The client should notify their mobile carrier and call our Client Service team to let us know the card was added to a mobile wallet so we can disable the card for use with a mobile wallet.
