1. What are the biggest challenges you face as a nonprofit?
As a policy-driven nonprofit, we face the dual challenge of identifying real-world solutions and ensuring they’re successfully implemented. That requires focus and financial stability, especially in New Mexico, which unfortunately often lands near the bottom in many national rankings. We need partners who truly understand the needs of mission-based organizations and offer more than transactional support.
2. How did Enterprise help solve these challenges?
Enterprise Bank & Trust has been by our side for more than 25 years. We value the bank’s personalized approach and deep understanding of our organization. When we experienced a small cybersecurity incident, the team’s response was immediate. They recovered 90% of the lost funds, something we never thought was possible. Enterprise truly cares about our work and the impact we have on the Sante Fe community — the team is always in our corner.
3. What is the impact on your organization?
Enterprise’s support has helped us stay mission-focused and financially secure. Its consistent philanthropy, including annual contributions and early capital campaign support, reflects the bank’s genuine investment in our success. Knowing we have a responsive, stable banking partner allows us to concentrate on driving policy changes, such as making full-day kindergarten universal, repealing taxes on groceries and ending predatory lending in New Mexico.
